?uestlove/The Foreign Exchange/Zo!/Carlitta Durand - Purple Flip

We recorded this over a month ago specifically for a ?uestlove tribute party dedicated to The Purple One himself. Other than passing it off to a few DJ friends who vowed to keep it on some secret squirrel, "bet you aint up on THIS!" status, no one has ever heard it. In the wake of the incredible loss we suffered on June 25 however, this joint took on somewhat of a deeper meaning.
We decided to share it with our fans not only as a token of appreciation, but also as a way of paying respect to one of our last living musical geniuses. Let's not wait until tragedy strikes before we show love and gratitude to our heroes, people. Give them their flowers while they live. This one's for you, Mr. Nelson. You are loved and appreciated. Enjoy! One Love, 'Tay and Nic

DJ JS1 Ft. Ultramagnetic MCs, Rahzel, Canibus & Prince Poetry - Brainbender

Another solid leak off DJ JS1's "No Sellout" album, which you should have in your crates and CD Racks by now! JS1 made an album that he stands behind and feels represents a timeless approach to music and I agree. This isn't trendy hip-hop, this is classic boombap and you need to take a look at the work he put in to make this album work - its incredible. 40 MCs!

For those that don't know, The Get Busy Committee is made up of Apathy, Ryu (Fort Minor/Styles of Beyond) and Scoop Deville. From Apathy, "Basically we're just havin' fun, and doin some different sounding shit." I kinda like this joint right here - big shouts to E.T. for sendin it through and passin on the good word. The title of their upcoming album is "Uzi Does It" - its bound to be some crazy shit & you already know, the production will be solid, as well. Check it out! Peace

Eternia & MoSS - Road to Release: Episode #4 "LIVE @ LYRICIST LOUNGE" Ft. JERU the DAMAJA

I had the pleasure of being on stage with Eternia at the latest installment of the Lyricist Lounge Show, a tradition that dates back over 15 years. Jeru The Damaja hosted the event & Eternia was one of the featured performers. A laid back crowd was brought to their feet by Jeru, as he prepped them for Eternia's performance & by the end of her set, the crowd was so amped, they wanted more and cheered for an encore! With the help of DJ Boo on the 1s and 2s, Chesney Snow beatboxing and Colin Dean on bass, Eternia held it down and represented for the true elements of hip-hop. By far the highlight of the evening, it's humbling to see NY crowds show that much love, because if you are from here, you know it's not easy to win over NY fans lol. This performance was extra special, because she performed unreleased material off her upcoming album, and as you can see, she left fans speechless lol. Check it out & enjoy! Peace
